I'd heard of this, but thought what nonsense (I think Noel Edmonds used it for resurrecting his TV career ?) http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Cosmic_Ordering

However... I have a 3,000 word essay to write by next Thursday. I wished I had time off school to do it...and then I came down with a cold/sore throat on Monday. Result=3 extra days (I'm not counting time spent on the Grapevine)
My guinea pig hutch is falling to bits...wood is rotting and badly cobbled together with rusty nails...pigs are chewing the wood that isn't rotten. This wind & rain is finishing it off... I moved it this morning and another bit fell off. Drat. Came inside, checked my emails, and somebody is Freecycling a new rabbit hutch! Just up the road from me! The email was sent at the exact time I was looking at my old hutch and wishing for a new one. Cool

That's wonderful two sheds, sounds as though it really works. The power of positive thought. I'll have to try it and really, really believe......

I suppose it's a bit like prayer only less focused? Homeopathic prayer? When the actual prayer is watered down so much that only its pure essence is left?

        I'll get me coat.

I keep hoping I'll win the lottery but that hasn't worked yet

And then I realised it wouldn't fit on the back of my bike but would quite easily fit in a 4X4!

Don't know what your essay is about, but I'm sure you can find a way to give Cosmic Ordering a mention in there Well, why not

I'll have you know, I moved the last rabbit hutch on me bike! All six foot of it, I had to walk mind and nearly dislocated my shoulder holding onto the booger, but I did it. I've moved house on my bike before (no furniture see), and moved my parrot from Brighton to Suffolk by bike/train...where there's a will

Cosmic Ordering just worked for me again - twice in a day.

                      1) I was looking for a box to put teacher's present in, and wishing I'd bought some new shoes, so I had a shoe box to use. While rummaging for wrapping paper instead, my old shoebox of cassette tapes jumped off the wardrobe onto the floor

                      2) my dressmaking scissors are chewing the fabric rather than cutting, and I wished I could afford some more. Just now I was looking for something else, and found a brand new pack of 5 sewing scissors that I'd tucked away last year and forgotten about

brilliant stuff. I was so impressed with my cosmic ordering success that I revived this old thread

Me too want to win the lottery, specially with all the s*** going on at work at the mo. Don't want millions, just enough not to have to worry about the rent and the bills. Wishing doesn't seem to work

Cosmic Ordering sounds like agnostic prayer.....

Has anyone watched the film "the secret"?
Believe me power of attraction does work, but you have to get yourself in the right frame of mind.
Like attracts like, therefore positive attracts positive and negative attracts negative.
If you keep "hoping" you win the lottery but keep saying you never will, that's the message you're putting out to the universe....I keep hoping but it never happens - so it never does.
You have to visulise yourself in the situation you want to be in.
                            Simples!
Imagination is everything, it is a preview of what is to become.
