Well done all - you did a great job! Sorry I couldnt be there, just too far to travel and we only see OHs children once a fortnight so couldnt put them off. You did a great job without me though, I couldnt have competed with Dave!!
Life may not be the party we hoped for but since we're here we might as well dance
Super pics Sarah! It's lovely seeing photos of you all, and the hard work you put in. Bernie PS who does Pads belong to? and Mrs D - who was your four legged friend?

Ah! I wondered if it was Bella! (sorry, couldnt remember the photos! ) Aw bless! Did she help with the digging? If I'dve been able to come, would have to leave Dexy at home - he would've run round as fast as his arthritic legs would carry him with Bella and Pads! Bernie

Unfortunately, Paddy & Bella didn't quite 'see eye to eye' did they Mrs D ??!! Think Pads will be staying with Daddy if we do that kind of thing again...
Dave, your dogs are beautiful, bet they take a lot of keeping groomed in this weather?! You should have seen the colour of the water when Paddy had her bath/shower on Sunday...
The black one is Solomon AKA Solly, 7 years old Essex boy! The golden is Barnabas AKA Barny, sod pot, out of there, pest, Oy NO! etc. etc., 5 years old and a rescue dog at 3 months. He had had 4 different homes by then. He's very bright- too bright at times. He can take a paper tissue out of my pocket without me feeling it and has even removed a sticking plaster from my leg without me knowing, didn't even pull the hairs on my leg while he did it.
And yes Sar. they take about an hour to get through properly but that only happens once or twice a week. They need trimming now so that is a couple of hours for Solly with the clippers but about 3 - 4 hours for Barny because he is hand stripped to keep his coat "right".
Still it's something to do if it's raining and no newlyweds need their plot digging.
