Finally pics of my new garden - which I haven't seen yet!

I've never seen my new house and I wont until I move over to Belfast on the 21st of April but I've FINALLY got pics of the garden!

My 1st impression is; decent space, blank canvas, lots of potential and sunshine! But what is with the grass?? (If you can call it that?)

What do you guys think?

Grass!!!!? Good size blank canvas though. Probably as hard and compacted as concrete, but it'll keep you busy!

Allready have 2 brand new raised beds to be put in immediatly!! As hubby and the movers put boxes in the house and he unpacks I'll be soil testing and measuring!!

Ooh, Victoria! I bet your green fingers are itching to get cracking on that.
Its a nice, manageable size. My only grouse is that builders always, ALWAYS put those damn oil tanks in such blumming STOOPID positions! Still,nothing that a bit of trellis and some sweetpeas couldn't put right!

Ive got a couple of rose arches all ready just waiting to hide that ugly oil tank!! It will be ripped out and landscaped completely!! I want paving but hubby wants decking....Think we will have to persevere

But I will keep you all posted on the progress with plenty of piccys!! Cannot wait to get all that ugly moss lawn up!! Lemme at it!!

I find it amazing that you can be so cheerful about having to move every couple of years, or so! I would find it very frustrating, and would lack the enthusiasm to do anything constructive, knowing that I had to leave it all, or rip it all up again in a few years. Congratulations, and big ((HUGS)) to you!

Tell your husband that decking is ok if you want to make a home for rats.

Patio everytime, decking is a passing phase, that is not really suited to out climate.
