How about Cliveden - lots of different gardens and the Thames too.

That's it - too many to choose from now! LOL

Beth Chatto isn't far from me, but I've only been once. Audley End too, but I think I last went there on a School trip! LOL

Hatfield House, and Anglesey Abbey are both do-able too!

Cliveden's a bit of a trek for me, but I'll go with the flow...

Beth Chatto is definitely an eastern grape meeting place.
If you do Audley End or Cliveden I'm in - and it would be great to have a meet during the week of 18th June when Ginger is here!
ETA - Hatfield house is really near too!

I'd say the horsey babe puts all these suggestions into a hat and pull one out and that's the one we go with

OK - I can't seem to add a Poll, so it'll have to be votes in posts.

Audley End House, Saffron Walden, Essex?

                or

                Hatfield House, Hatfield, Hertfordshire?

They seem to be the most central to those that have shown an interest.

Jeanie's plan to include Ginge is fabbo, can I please put in an order for CAAAAAAAKE!

If I can make it then Hatfield House is neaer for me. Will have to see how much coach fare is but may be too far for me especially for a day trip.

Just had a quick look and its do able to London Victoria by coach not sure if the price is £14.40 each way or return.

I'd vote Audley End, 45mins closer according to Google, but until the date's decided I won't know if I can make either!

Audley End is much nearer for me, but I'm happy to go to Hatfield House, too.

                              OK, Jeanie/Ginge dates please?
