Don't know why, but lately I have had a line from a poem buzzing around in my head.
I distinctly remember reading this poem at Junior school ( 200 years ago).
It was a poem about a shipwreck and the crew being adrift in a boat. As the poem progressed, so did their plight and they ended up eating each other!![EEK!](https://www.growfruitandveg.co.uk/grapevine/core/images/smilies/eek.gif)
It sounds very gruesome, but it was actually written in a quite amusing way - or that's how I remember it.
The only line I can remember is
"..Next we ate the Bosun, who much resembled pork....."
Please, someone tell me I am not suffering from some sort of false memory! I have tried looking on some of the "Find a Poem" search engines, but nothing comes up.
Anyone else recall reading such a poem?
