While most of the nation appear to be partying what are you doing on your bank holiday? Im helping a friend to do a job so that will take most of the day
Gardening with my little helpers, eating and getting duffed up by the little helpers! General Dad type stuff really! Having been dressed up as 'Charlie' and paraded around for his wedding (street party) all those years ago I tend steer well clear nowadays! lol

Fantasy reminds us that the soul is sane but the universe is wild and full of marvels
I don't know anybody who will be partying, everybody I know just intends to make the most of another day off work and is hoping to get out and about if the weather is nice.
Some of us live in the past, always talking about back then. Some of us live in the future, always planning what we are going to do. And, then there are those, who neither look behind or ahead, but just enjoy the moment of right now.
We've been invited to a party with other Brits to celebrate the wedding, the hosts are relative newbies who think the only way to have a good time is for them and their friends and relatives to get so drunk that they are incoherent or really abusive.
Although they live in our commune and not far from us, we're making our excuses and we're not going.
As fully paid up members of the Republican movement, all the fawning Nicholas Witchell, bum-kissing, grovelling rubbish really p****s me off at the best of times so we're actually going out to do our monthly shop, look for some new shoes and then we'll watch anything on the tele in the evening other than the highlights/replay/full version of the event.
Better not cancel Gardener's world for it, I'd even watch Monty and his long borders rather than that.
For my work its considered a normal day, so my team will be working as normal, however, its the first day of my spring hols, so I will be having a Royal Weeding Day at the plot, clearing beds, planting out plants, weeding and watering, generally as far away from the telly as I am able to get out in the open air!
