Whatever happened to the future?

Nobody seems to talk about the future any more. Instead they talk about 'going forward'.

I find this rather irritating.

Anyone else have an aversion to some of our modern expressions?

At the end of the day we all need a level playing field, if only you could utilise some blue sky thinking, run it up the flagpole, make sure it washes it's face, then we could all hit the ground running and get all our ducks in a row. Tell me about it - we used to play Jargon Bingo when I worked for a corporate. The best thing about working for a corporate - is finding out you don't want to work for a corporate ever again!
