Hi Guys,
Just a shameless plug, we are having our first Plant Sale at the allotments on Sunday the 1st May 2011, at Moss View Allotments, Moss View Road, Partington, Trafford.
The plant sale will be from 2pm until 4pm, and whilst the sale is on folks will be welcome to have a look around the site, take part in our tombola, have a cup of tea or a juice, eat some lovely homemade cakes and scones, and of course buy our plants.
We've got Tomatoes, chillies, peppers, aubergines, flowers, sweetcorn, and many other types of veg seedlings for you to buy!
We will also be selling honey produced from the allotment, at a reduced rate!
All proceeds from the plant sale are going to go into the Community Orchard project that we are starting up, utilising an unused tree nursery to provide us with a community orchard, a wildlife edible hedge (fedge) and heritage fruit tree nursery.
So, why not come along, have a nosey round, buy some of our seedlings, have a brew and a cake, and buy some of our local honey!
