OMG.....I've just given my OH a huuuuge huggle

When my aunty had brain cancer she was lying in the cancer ward in acute pain lapsing in and out of a coma, in one of her lucid moments as I sat holding her hand her eyes opened and she looked out of the window and there in the sky was a beautiful rainbow, she indicated that I should come closer and whispered in my ear, think of me when you see those and I will always be with you.
Every rainbow makes me think of my aunty even thirty years after her death, no one knows where we go when we die, buddhists believe that a rainbow indicates a soul reaching nirvana whatever happens or where we go, rainbows make me smile and remember that amazing wonderful woman who thought about how I was feeling a few short hours before she slipped away. How amazing that man thought of his family and friends and took time to say goodbye.

I'm trying to find a series of photographs of something similar - a photographer was commisioned to photograph/document the struggle of an ill person right up to the death / funeral. So moving - I'll have a look some some photogrpahy forums I'm sure I posted it on.
