  • Scumbags!!

I have just read this article, totally disgusting. Not far from where I live.

Thousands of pounds of damage has been caused to allotments after vandals went on a wrecking spree.

Firefighters were called to the site in Lower Bloors Lane, Rainham, at 2.30am this morning.

Several plots had been set alight; three in one row and another nearby. Two crews from Medway fire station spent an hour tackling the flames.

Plot owners arrived this morning to find sheds have also been pushed over, fences have been trampled down and between 20 and 30 sheds have been broken into.

Pearl Weskin, 59, whose plot has been destroyed by the fire, said: "It’s heartbreaking"

Had to share it with you, the poor owners.

Scumbags is too good for them. Even if they get caught, they will get little more than a slap on the wrist.

          Sickening, isn't it?

Both too far away from me to offer any practical assistance, too.
Our England is a garden, and such gardens are not made
By singing-'Oh how beautiful!" and sitting in the shade,
While better men than we go out and start their working lives
At grubbing weeds from gravel paths with broken dinner-knives. ~ Rudyard Kipling

All we can do is hope there is truth in the saying .... What goes around, comes around.
He who smiles in the face of adversity, has already decided who to blame

Soul destroying. My heart and simpathy goes out to you.

And when your back stops aching,
And your hands begin to harden.
You will find yourself a partner,
In the glory of the garden.

I dread to think what I'd do if I caught someone trashing my plot.
