First car was a Vauxhall Nova 1.0l pile of poop, then a Racing green mini which rocked, then I chopped the top and the front of the Mini made it convertible with a fibre glass front end, stage 2'd the engine. That was fun times but I needed something bigger so I got a G plate Astra 1.4 when that died I got an R plate Peugeot 306 which is the worst car I have every owned in my life and I will never touch a Peugeot again as long as i live! rant over. My next and current car is a Ford Focus ST170 and by god it shifts well but it is also practical for the family and the economy isn't awful, best part is it has sailed through every MoT and not broken down or cost me a penny yet in repairs etc in almost 7 years.

Dream car - Original restored Jaguar E-Type pre american windshield change model in British Racing Green,

Aaaaawwwwww - wish I hadn't clicked on this thread again. I looooooove old classics - I get it from my Dad, who has sold his collection, apart from an E-Type. Himself loooooves Land Rovers of all ages, but not any other classics.

Old Jags - Yummy. Old Cobra - YUUUUMMMMMYYYYYY! I also like a particular shape 'Vette (had a mate who was Yank mad - met up with her today, and she still is!) And I also like the old '66 Moootang - deeelish!

If I could have ANY car in the world (and not have to sell my Disco) I would have a Citroen DS - Oh yes I would, and a Ferrari Dino 246 GTS.

When I was a wee thing I used to walk past a house with a Triumph GT6 in the drive and I loved it. Finally bought one many years later when it was a classic. Loved the fact that I owned it, but it was a let down. Fave car ever owned, probably my Saab 900 turbo convertible. Sold it to move to France, what a mistake.
Worst car ever, one of either my Allegro in "that" hideous orange colour or the Talbot Horizon limited edition Silver Fox which was a death trap on wheels.

Ooooooh Spongey, two truly awful motors there; I had a friend with an 'Agro' nasty nasty thing, and another with a Horizon. The Talbot was new - but still totally pants. My worst cars were my first one; a Morris Marina and later a Cavalier - would've torched 'em both if I could've afforded to. Awful things.

Oooohh I had a Marina too, 1.8 something or other in a purpley blue sort of colour. Thing that stood out was that for the last 9 months of its life it had no reverse gear which meant judicious parking or careful pushing.

LOL Mine was 'Duck-**** Green' one small arm movement to turn right, three times round the wheel to go left. A knackered wheel bearing, and vinyl seats - eeeeeeeeeeeeewwwwwwwwwww!

Come to think of it, the gears were a bit iffy too...
