Snotty owners of snotty little dogs who are allowed to bark & snap at my dog, but when my dog retaliates I get the glares. I'm trying really hard to socialise & train a young dog who had a bad start in life, and these stupid ignorant people aren't helping. But thanks indeed to the one man who sympathised and came to give me words of kindness & encouragement on a very difficult, trying day

I had similar problems with my Akita, she was always on her lead when out and about, but the number of people that let their dogs run up to her and challenger her was untrue and at 91/2 stone she took some holding back. I couldn't blame the dogs but have to say if it were the owners doing the barking I might just have let her have her head.

I get the same thing all the time with my German Shepherd. And in fact had an owner demanding hundreds of pounds off me for vets bills a few months ago after Pads finally snapped at her horrid dog who'd been barking at her and running at her for about 12 months. For future reference, if your dog goes for another dog and they're both off the lead, there is no legal avenue for responsibility on either side. If one dog is on the lead it's always considered the fault of the one that's OFF the lead regardless of which one ends up injured...

Reading my nephews 'report' from nursery (before he goes to 'big school') and seeing loads of spelling mistakes in it...

How can they be teaching him the beginnings of literacy etc, when they don't seem to know it themselves... get a dictionary!!

at myself......taking clean washing in DD's bedroom , she said that's a bag of rubbish pointing to a full carrier bag on the floor. And like an idiot I said ok, picked it up and carried it down to the bin.....why didn't I say , you know where the bin is ?

When people assume that anyone has a limited amount of sympathy. Or assume that people with addictions may not have other issues such as underlying mental health problems. Or presume to comment on how other people feel and attempt to inflict their own narrow mindedness on others.
