I relocated the rest of it to his mothers garage He has "grown out of it", you can't let it out you know. My house is full of useless junk that will not come in handy one day. Because of the unique way he is wired (which is endearing most of the time) he gets panicky when I have a rant and a clearout.

    TOUGH

I am on clear out mode and it is going or he is

are we chatting on the rant thread?!

I do this! I finally fessed up a couple of years ago, and he hadn't missed any of the cr*p that I'd chucked.

However, I now eBay most of it, so at least we get sommat back for it!

          • My rant;

PayPal - the ONLY purchase I actually NEED a receipt for, is the one they haven't sent me one for. So I've got to piddle about and sort it. Somehow.

              • People queueing several deep for an automatic door when there are six(!) manual doors in a line right beside them!
I was feeling part of the scenery
I walked right out of the machinery
My heart going boom boom boom
"Hey" he said "Grab your things
I've come to take you home."

Is that not a minor laugh, rather than rant?
                  My minor rant:-
I'm at the checkout, I have 18 bottles of wine in wine carriers,2 pints of milk,1 loaf, 2 bags of apples, 1 tube of toothpaste and a bag for life.
Why does the girl ask if I need any help with my packing?
Sent from my pc cos I don't have an i-phone.

                  • People who don't notice when someone is having a really tough time, and them bitch at them for 'not asking how I am' when all said person ever does is whinge anyway! No-one needs to ask how you are love, you tell us 10 times a day!

                    • On this hoarding thing with guys... After trying to rid Mr VVGs hoards and him hooking them back out of the bin, I now save it until Wednesday morning before 10:30 when the binman arrives. Et voila - au revoir no more :-)

Similarly, in Asda, there's usually a longish queue for the self-service tills for people with not many items, even when it'd obviously be quicker to go through an ordinary check-out.

I told him! I am very honest like that. But he's not here on a Wednesday morning so can't do anything about it anyhow - that's the beauty of my new methodology
I keep looking at the mess in his domain, the garage. Have managed to sit on my hands for now but it won't be for long.
My new one is to tell him he's too old to tackle something (he isn't by the way). Take the decorating job. Hasn't got around to this for two years so I told him it was time to get someone in as he was looking tired and I think he's too old for all this additional work. Guess what happened?

                            • My rant today is conman tree surgeons (supposed) who are charging our elderly neighbours £1,000 to take off a few branches. No proper topping or pollarding of their very tall trees. They charged £350 to go 8' in the air and hack a copper beech at the top making it a rectangular shape instead of the lollipop shape they wanted. Then the other trees have had some lower branches removed - about twelve branches in total.
