When they say 'you will expeerience discomfort - they mean you will feel like you have had acide poured into your eyes and be totally unprepared for the agonising pain

When they say 'your eyes will be sensitive to light' when they mean even in a dark room, a cream piece of paper will scream at you and you will recoil into a quivering wreck at the sight of it

When they say 'rest for 24 hours' when they do they make you go in the next morning in bright daylight for a 5 minute check up? I suppose it is because you can then go buy paracetamol and coedine to knock you out for the rest of the day.

Jeez mutha hubbards - I'd rather know and be prepared than not know and be in agonising pain without the ability to deal with it.

[spelling apologies - I cn't really see what i'm typing - I'll come back in a day or two and correct it - honest].

      And so to bed.....

          Argh! Bladdy hayfever!

I've had nary a symptom for over 18 months... managed mostly by diet and acupuncture. I've gardened, even in 'high' pollen counts, sat out in the garden... never taken an antihistamine or anything.

This weekend, it has hit me like a ton of bricks. I'm snotty, sore eyes, sneezing for England, with the general lethargy that comes with it all. I'm heading out to the supermarket soon for antihistamines..... grrrr

They should be looking sheepish later when they've finished arguing Shirl

If it's not bladdy sport, it's repeats. How many times can someone watch Only Fools and Horses, Morecambe and Wise and The Sweeney? Too many. He must know the scripts by now.

He'll not be able to watch them in 3D though, will he?

Get him on a real mans sport Flo,tonight 9 o/c ITV4,chair racing from the island,he will see a degree of sportsmanship, skill & commitment he will never see from a bunch of nancy fo**ballers

My rant would be the lack of coverage of classic motor sport on main channel tv,a few will recognise the IoM TT but how many have heard of the Ulster let alone seen it

Edit: Flo Get your OH to take you to see .. The Ilkley Trials .. then at least you get a day out looking at the fauna & marvelous views on the moors

Of those the only one that needs to be viewed on tv would be motor cars, the others can be viewed in their entirety from a single viewpoint,so should really be watched live to gain the true atmosphere

Con, isn't it? It cost me 24 and a 60 mile journey (got it done in the post office as I knew if I did it myself it wouldn't be the specified size or quality)

Today's rant: the weather (still dry), my cold (I've had one every half term hol so far this year), having too much to do and no help. I asked Himself to help me with the watering last night and he said "I'm going to sit down" (he'd only got off his backside all day to wash his car). Oh yeah, when he was washing his car I said that I always throw a bucket of water over his when I'm doing mine. Hint hint.
                                No, he didn't.

He then gets really angry with me when I'm too tired to go out with his friends
