I am a bit miffed with Mr OWG....
We are off to an engagement party in Leeds tomorrow, and last night I suggested that we should put the dogs in kennels, get my sister to chicken-sit and book a hotel, instead of driving the 1.5hrs back late at night.
Mr OWG has been under a lot of pressure at work, and has done a lot of hours this week, and I thought that a nice night in a hotel would de-stress him (and me!) and be a nice little adventure.
Apparantly not. He would rather drive home late at night....Comment

RATS!!!!!!!! Hate the dammed things.Grrrrrr........ They've just managed to get into my hut and eat all my Crimson flowered broadies I was drying for next years seed and also my best two tomatoes which I was ripening for next years seed.
PS Managed to get the one that had eaten my toms in a rat trap so i hope he enjoyed his last supper!! NOT!!!My Majesty made for him a garden anew in order

Maybe it's just me but.. people who, though they clearly don't actually care, ask ""So what sort of things do you grow in your allotment?" Then their eyes glaze over when you answer.
What sort of things do you think I grow on my allotment? I'm always tempted to say cannabis, opium poppies, had a go at cocaine but the weather's a bit cold in Aberdeen....Comment
