      • Free stuff!

In the last 2 weeks I've had 2 bags of decent clothes and a bag of expensive and unopened toiletries (that I like!) given to me by people who are decluttering etc!

        • Knowing that my torture here is finally coming to an end. When I leave here in early September I wont ever be coming back. I plan to have 3 months off work, both Christmas and New Year at home for the first time in years, and then look to start again in the new year.
Yes there will of course be financial worries, no money coming in is a difficult way to live, but just to have 3 months of waking up in my own bed will be something I dont think I've ever had in my adult life.
          Winner.

              • Knowing that I am exactly where I want to be and being content with what I have.

Not too thrilled at a speeding ticket (maybe) but then it was me that was doing a progressive 30 so I have no-one to blame...and not getting angry at myself over it because I chose the moods and feelings I experience and I did not choose anger. :-)

                • Well, my computer may be knackered thanks to a furry power supply that I can't clean, but my van will have a new disc and brake pad for a lot less money than I thought, it's fixable almost straightaway and I don't have to taxi in to work tonight, so when my feet start murdering me after, I can come home again without forking out for another taxi or waiting for a lift. Happy Days....

                    • The feeling that I am almost all sorted out for this weekend's party and that I have more friends turning up then I originally accounted for. :-)
Just the beds to sort our for all my overnighters on Saturday and then just the curries to cook on Saturday morning....then time to chill, enjoy, relax, have fun. This is the first party I have had this year since the big D so looking forward to it all.
