      • Going to daughter and family's this afternoon for a 'games afternoon/evening. It'll all be bored (yes, that's the spelling I mean!) games and card games which I can't stand BUT playing them with 2 gorgeous grand-daughters and watching them laugh will make it a sheer delight!

I'm taking a home made coffee cake along too. That makes me smile as well.

                  • Having a lovely NYE with good friends!

Also, having a very amusing walk home with Mr OWG who was very drunk. It was like walking a toddler home - he kept asking where his gloves where, and whether we were nearly home

Whilst I have a small, manageable headache, he is still in bed with a very bad headache!

                    • Hearing that son has got a new girlfriend. He lives alone down south, works long hours in London and has money troubles, so he often sounds depressed when we speak on the phone.

Today he was rather upbeat. Aaah, it makes a mother's heart sing.

                      • Just opened a seed box to get Curry pepper seeds out and they really do smell of curry (well more like garam masala) Whole box is all whiffy and lovely.
