          • 2 fantastic performances by British athletes in the World Champs. Hannah England fantastic silver medal and then then Dai Green with an awesome gold.
            Not ashamed to say, as a Brit, that I was screaming and jumping up and down in my flat, with tears pouring down my face.

                • The sunrise has been glorious these last 2 days. It's almost as if the season changed the minute we got to 1st September. It was lovely and misty on the drive in to work.
                  Gives me that 'glad to be alive' feeling.

                  • Remember the Pillock (see rant thread), who kept emailing me, begging me to list an item as 'Buy-it-Now' coz he didn't want to wait until the end of the Auction?

                    Well, I did this, with both remaining items, and two other people bought them!!!! Hahahahahaha

                      • The Coventry Building Society call centre who have got eldest mortgage moving.. She couldn't get an appt with an advisor till the 12th and now doesn't need one as the cc have sorted everything out .....she had a grin from ear to ear

                        • Just been given a very late birthday present by BH, birthday was in May.

                          Its a voucher for a photography experience day with teaching at International Centre for Birds of Prey and i'm going this Sunday. Yippee

                            Praise for a call centre - is this a world first? Actually, I must put in a good word for Santander's call centre - friendly and efficient.

                              • Getting home from a lovely holiday upnorth (Teesdale area) with daughter's family. Fishing in a perishing cold stream with 2 grand-daughters is really fantastic!
