Hi I also love taking my grandchildren to my allotment as they are into gardening. They are aged 14,13,4,4,and 9mths. My little grandaughter (4) told me in the Spring that she was growing people so think she has come up with a novel idea for pro creating!!!We in Ireland have hadthe worst summer on record and gardens have suffered-despite having 10 tomato plants i have no toms yet.Yesterday I collected a lot of my herbs and am drying them for Winter use and I also frooze some Spinach.Have to get back to work now-it seriously hinders my gardening.PS What do you pay for allotments and have you strict rules as to what you can and cant do??Juy

My Shadow! He's a clever little doggie now! He can find the stick we throw, even if it lands in a bush, and he shakes the bush until it falls down, THEN he fetches it!Flowers come in too many colours to see the world in black-and-white.

Finding some conkers at a wedding at the weekend, bringing them home and threading them with string to play conkers with Bean. Bean then declaring to his Mummy, Uncle, Aunty, Grannie & Grandad (who were all round our house yesterday) that he was going to play "honkers" with Daddy and that he would win.A simple dude trying to grow veg. http://haywayne.blogspot.com/
