Finding out I can sign up for the last few sessions of the local pottery class, so I can start tomorrow, rather than having to wait until the next term starts in January, and at a very reasonable price!
And my back seems to be getting actually better- after a few weeks of barely being able to walk, including a few horrid days of only just being able to crawl So I should be OK to go to London this weekend to an aquarium show and a trip to Kew, after looking forward to it for aages! (Am borrowing a scooter at Kew, but last week I wouldn't have been able to manage to even get there, I don't think.)
Just need it to get good enough to finish the digging now!

Mr Frosty and I visited the new Transport Museum in Glasgow, after his appointment at the SGH on Monday. I loved the old museum but the new one knocks the socks off the old one. Fabulous displays. One of the fire engines on display used to be at Govan Fire Station when Mr Frosty worked there, he's now feeling rather old Didn't help two friends that were with us have either just retired or will retire in December. The climbing gear Mr Frosty and friends used when climbing (lots of years ago) is in the museum. The crampons on show are actually newer than the set in our home We then all went for a curry for lunch (to cheer up the auld yins up) We all had a good day.

Being blown by the wind. Day off today so went out for a long walk and the wind was so strong you could lean on it. Wonderful. Blowing my hair about and forcing itself into my lungs - I felt totally refreshed.Location - Leicestershire - Chisit-land
Endless wonder.

Coming into a warm cosy house after being outside in the horrible bitey cold . I'm now over feeling guilty for turning the CH on, after years & years of miserable cold damp sick winters when I couldn't afford to have any heat at allLast edited by Two_Sheds; 28-11-2011, 03:25 PM.All gardeners know better than other gardeners." -- Chinese Proverb.

1. Having my home to myself at long last. The friend who lodged with me for 7 months has left and the peace and calm has returned to my home. :-)
2. Have next week off to go study to qualify as an NLP Practitioner. :-)
3. Looking forward to the Christmas break and whole days of lazing about !!‘you cannot discover new oceans unless you have the courage to lose sight of the shore'

I've had a really happy weekend. OH has been nice to me (not only no rows, but he's made me lunch, coffee, washed up, EVERY DAY!).
We went to my friend's wedding and (I) had a lovely time ~ he didn't know anyone so we didn't stay too long, which means I didn't have a hangover next day.
Then, lazy Sunday in PJs drinking cocoa and uploading parrot clips onto youtube (I never just lounge & do nothing), we only got dressed to go round another friend's for Veggie Roast and laughs.Last edited by Two_Sheds; 05-12-2011, 01:56 PM.All gardeners know better than other gardeners." -- Chinese Proverb.
