Being able to wash four sets of full length chenille curtains, and dry them outside in the Spring sunhine. Seeing big fat green shoots on all of my Clematis (hoping frost doesn't get them now) and getting 3 x 4ft Honeysuckles and a 5ft Ceanothus on a trellis (for my sister's b/day) from the Sick Bay in the garden centre for the grand total of £11.25!Last edited by julesapple; 19-02-2012, 02:37 PM.Jules

Noting that the ignorant halfwit who yesterday insisted that parking on the yellow zig zags outside school was 'fine', despite my polite, patient but very firm explanation of why it was NOT 'fine' didn't park there today
Then being approached by a prospective parent as to my thoughts on the school and despite a severe language barrier - my Japanese consists mainly of knowing the names of Pokemon characters and his English, whilst brilliant in comparison was a tad stilted - managing to (I think!) have a reasonable discussionI was feeling part of the scenery
I walked right out of the machinery
My heart going boom boom boom
"Hey" he said "Grab your things
I've come to take you home."

OH being back at work for the first time in 3 months after having an operation and getting up at 5.00 am. Means I can snuggle up to the dog for an hour or so. Yeah I know she shouldn't be on the bed but she's just like a big teddy.

I went to "work" today and came home with a pineapple sage which was newly potted on and given to me by one of the lovely gardeners.Last edited by cardiffsteve; 22-02-2012, 09:43 PM.

Annual leave today............. lunch with a three year old at the GC. No ulterior motive on my part, honest........ there is a jolly good soft play area there. That's my excuse, and I'm sticking to it.
...........and then it's Friday tomorrow!!Whether you think you can or whether you think you can't, you are probably right.
