A day ignoring everything else I should have been doing whilst sitting under the blanket I'm crocheting and watching iPlayerI was feeling part of the scenery
I walked right out of the machinery
My heart going boom boom boom
"Hey" he said "Grab your things
I've come to take you home."

Working with one of my year 4's today on his handwriting. I lent him a different pencil and suddenly his writing became much neater and more legible - and he is putting little cursive hooks on each letter, meaning it won't be long before he can join up! When we looked at his writing a few pages back in his exercise book he could tell the difference and was all delighted! As I wasWhooops - now what are the dogs getting up to?

Going on hols tomorrow and knowing I got most if not all I wanted done before I head off for ten days of (hopefully) relaxation....(altho with 3 kids, who knows ?)....I dream of a better tomorrow, where chickens can cross the road and not be questioned about their motives....

When I left for work this morning 4.50 a.m. it was almost daylight.
Had to scrape the frost off the windscreen.
It rained gently most of the day, watering in the seedlings I planted out yesterday
Thought frost would damage exposed potatoes and newly planted out sweetcorn
Got home and checked, spuds and corn not touched by frost.
Happy me!Location - Leicestershire - Chisit-land
Endless wonder.

Mr Frosty and I went to the cinema yesterday (can't remember the last time we went, can't remember which decade we went in) but really enjoyed watching Marvels Avengers (a must for a Christmas DVD). Can't believe the price of sweeties in the cinema Mr Frosty thought I needed a treat, cause at the weekends I am helping to clear a site for new allotments (and I'm well and truly knackered).Last edited by FROSTYFRECKLE; 09-05-2012, 02:46 PM.
