    • I'm feeling a bit overwhelmed. Quite by accident have acquired a lot of decking boards to make raised beds on our new half plot.

                  • As part of my job I have to go to allotment sites.
                    I went to 2 yesterday at either end of the spectrum.
                    The first had a lot of problems with vandalism and very dry clay soil.
                    The second looked like a show allotment everything was prisitine and inside the main gates was a beautiful flower bed that everyone tended too.
                    It was a delight to walk around.
