My 5 year old son asking me to put my mangetout in his school lunch box. Up till now green was not something you put in your mouth. Ok, so he has to take the peas out and throws away the pods but it's a start
Sorting out the little terrace in my garden. We've lived here 4 years but until now it's been overhung by next door's tree (recently cut down) and largely taken up with a composter. Now I've got a trained fig, vine and rose, some pots and a table and chairs My back hurts, my arms hurt and I found some strange voodoo stuff when digging (really!) but I'm very happy

My heart going boom boom boom

Coming home from work after hours on your feet following knee op. The house is empty. Put on a load of washing. Prepare dinner. Change in to jimjams. Lie on sofa with this months GYO, a 'cupa cha', and my little 3 legged cat. An hour of p&q before it starts all over again. Bliss.

A weed is a plant that has mastered every survival skill except for learning how to grow in rows
