I went to my first school today with my boss to show primary children how to make hanging baskets.
This school is in a deprived area and the delight on the childrens faces as they made up the baskets was a joy to see.

They especially liked watering my boots "by accident"

Had some very nice compliments about my work off my manager today.
It really cheered me up.
Also she is arguing the case for me to stay there after my 6 months is up.
She is trying to get some funding together.
