Please stop whingeing about it - it's EEEEEEEAAAAASY, honest!
Start on the main page. ie Click on 'FORUM' Top left.
From there, open whichever sections you want (ie cmd/click on Mac - I think it's right click on PC?) on 'Rule the Roost' for example, to open that section in a new tab. This leaves the original tab open, so you can just go back to it as and when you need to.
You can also do this on any other sections you regularly use; such as 'Vegging Out' and 'General Chitchat' so you can have as many tabs open as you choose.
From whichever tab you then choose to read first, just do the same again to open any particular threads you want to read in separate tabs.
It's what I did for nearly two years until someone mentioned the 'New Posts' button, that I hadn't even noticed existed D'oh! What a doofus!
SIIIIIMPLES!
Now, just got to sort out why it keeps showing me threads I haven't read (in bold) when I have already read them...
