One of our alotmenteers just did. He was witnessing a crow attacking a goldfinch nest in the pines surrounding our allotment. He hurled a rock at the offending crow and scored a direct hit.

One dead crow! It was hilarious. RIP Mr Crow. Condolences to Mrs crow, but your husband was a thieving murderous bas.....d.

Stone the crows.......now I know how the saying originated.....

We have Magpies and Jays round here - the blighters nick my eggs and feed. Much as I don't like the idea, my Dad put out a Larsen trap last week. Caught a Maggie the first day! Stoat got it the first night, so back to square one.
