Beau and his bestest friend, Breeze enjoying a walk at Golitha Falls - near Bodmin.
By the way, don't worry - he's not drowning in the third photo - he's rock diving - a favourite hobby!
Such a beautiful part of the country we live in. Last week we went to crowdy reservor for a picnic, even thought the weather was bad we sat in the car and the view was loverly.
We used to Dog-sit for one just like him - we always reckoned he was part fish, as he had an addiction to water. Our previous Goldie, that we lost 18 months ago wasn't too struck on water, but adored mud (and Fox poo ) Oscar is heading that way too....

Ah, yes, G4! I had two yellow labs that would turn themselves green rolling in Canada Goose pooh, but fortunately Beau's not a "dirty" roller, though he chucks himself down and shouts for joy with his legs in the air when I've just mowed the meadow!
We say that his reason for living is to redirect every river he encounters - one rock at a time!

Hey! We're nearly next door neighbours! Do you have a lottie or grow privately?

I have a small garden + greenhouse. Its a type of lottie, my parents have a farm with a massive veg patch and I sort of took some of it over! It great go out there at the weekends to do some gardening, mum gets the see grandbabies and I get fed well!

Sounds ideal! Not tempted to go for one of the new lottie plots that I hear are being planned in Bude, then?

One of my past shepherds hated water, he'd tiptoe over puddles if he couldn't get round them! Chester, my daughter's dog is like Beau as far as water is concerned. He's with us this week so I can't wait to see his antics when I get the hose out!
