        Just to let you know he has been taken off the ventilator and is breathing on his own which is a good sign, he had another operation yesterday to clean him up some more and unfortunatly he has also lost part of his buttock and a testi, its possible he will loose more. They will be operating on him again in the next couple of days. He is still critical.
        Son came home today but I wont see them till thursday as they need time on their own and to get back to work. They will be returning to brum on Friday.

                  Jackie, good to hear the positive update, though, bless his heart what a terrible, terrible trauma he's suffered. Must be a very strong young man to have fought this far. Praying for him. XXX

                        Just a quick update, he is still doing extremely well, he is still critical and has infections etc, he is possibly having more surgery today but could be tomorrow.
                        Please keep him in your prayers and thoughts.
                        Son and gf came round last night and are very positive for him.

                            Hope all the ops go well. We can never judge another person's quality of life - his and his family's positive outlooks will be vital to his recovery.
