He has had a Tracheostomy today, his heart rate and temperature are unstable when they take him off dialysis and they cant find out why. They have tested for just about everything.
The good news is he woke up today as yet we are not sure how much he remembers and how much he has been told. He was very calm when he woke, the family have been telling him he is safe etc when he was sedated so that might have got through to him.
He is still critical but each day is a new day.

"Funny", I was just thinking about him last night and wondering how he was doing. Good to know that he is still hanging on in there. As you say, each day is a new day so, here's to tomorrow - may he have a whole lifetime of new days

It's good to hear that he is conscious and still fighting. He's in a lot of people's thoughts and prayers.

He is doing extremly well, he is awake now and is aware of what happened, he is able to talk a bit and has even been joking. Onwards and upwards and so very brave.
