Compost, fertiliser, enviromesh, water pipe - to name but a few, at least my family have plenty of options. That's for my birthday, Christmas, or Mothering Sunday I hasten to add!

Vouchers - as I'd rather buy something that I'd use than just sits in the corner of the garage ! A couple of years ago though my wife took me to river cottage hq - that was brilliant

              in recent years i've had
              new border fork
              compost
              hand tools
but yesterday i was gifted a little cash to treat myself as i have been off work poorly for 6 weeks.
fitter now and backa t it slowly.
this will be a battle from the heart

As in manure, manure or rubbish preents? I used to get a load of 'manure' for my birthday until I said vouchers would be more appreciated. Money I'd just spend elsewhere - so by having vouchers for whatever I was doing at the time would mean they'd be worthwhile
