Your title did make me chuckle!
I bet your's taste nicer and all as they were properly ripened on the plant and not in a cardboard box.
Hush germinator, they're doing gyo'ers a favour that way better that you eat the nicer ones in season and pay low for them outa season ... heheNever test the depth of the water with both feet
The only reason people get lost in thought is because it's unfamiliar territory....
Always remember you're unique, just like everyone else.

Gosh Flo - do it! I got Red gooseberries, Purple raspberries, Summer rasps and Autumn rasps all in one year and by eck, they produce some crops. I am pulling rasp canes out every day as well, and am in the process of renewing my strawb stock if T&M ever get them sent.
The purple rasp canes grew to over 7ft tall this year, and have had to be cut down to 5ft - just started harvesting them last week.
It's fruity madness and stuff that doesn't get eaten goes to make fine wine.

I find soft fruit very easy to grow.. I really did prep the ground good (took 3 days of constant work on it - the place where they went was terrible).. but now they pretty much look after themselves.
Trouble is.. I don't know what to do with black, red, or white currants I'm thinking of getting rid of them and replacing with more raspberries. My currant bushes are enourmous now, I didn't realise they grew so large. May move them to the plot for the birds or something.

Currants are really quite simple to look after but once again, I'll give a plug to the RHS book on soft fruit by Harry Baker ISBN 0 85533 193 3. Second hand copies selling on Amazon from 32p + postage.

Home Made Blackcurrant Cordial recipe by Madalene Bonvini-Hamel, Founder of The British Larder – The British Larder
Cordial, jam, jellies, sauces, wine, vinegar. Soft fruit can be used for all these.
Heartily recommend Raspberry vinegar. Sounds wrong but is so right
