A la Winnie....Think! Think! Think!.....
In no particular order
1 Theakston's Old Peculiar
2 Ringwood 49er
3 McEwans's No. 1, 3, Champion (can't decide at the mo cos haven't had any for a while and it's difficult to get down here).
4 Had a fab winter ale in Grantham one year, all spice and winter fruits twas superb - can't remember what it was called though.
5 um... er.... Shepherd's something or other that I had at a beer festival. Rather lush but could only have one pint as Miss EB was still very small and I was still feeding her. She's nearly five now so no probs.
Currently drinking Hobgoblin as it is on special at Lidl and rather tasty. Quite partial to the odd murphy's, will try most things. The thing I like about real ales is that the majority don't use wheat which means they are ok for me to drink. Yippee. Shame really as a well chilled Hoeegaarden on a hot summer's day can sometimes push all the right buttons. And Dusseldorfer Alt is great on a cold night.
