Hmmm - what a lovely thought. I have nettles to clear from the Chook Run. Hen house to wash out, 2 saddles to clean, about 3 loads of laundry to do. Vacuuming PMSL, puppy to walk, baby chook run to build, and a car to road test. I'm not even dressed yet!

      I'll think of you!

So far I've only managed to road test the car - now back in with the ceiling fan on. Everything else can blimmin' wait!

Currently 33 out the front (91 in old money!) and 25 (75) out the back, in the shade!

36° here and getting hotter 'fraid the dogs are going to have to wait a couple of hours before they go out for their walk!

ETA: 2 more degrees and it will be 100 in old money

Now Im jealous. Today I have fitted an engine and organised the tools and attempted to fit a freinds subs. He didnt have the keys for his stereo so we couldnt do it in the end. To be honest Im quite chuffed we couldnt do it as its sweltering. May just collapse and have a takeaway.

Perfect day for the open gardens day in our village. Spent the entire day up the lottie. Got the grass cut by 8.30 and it was already sweltering! Had lots of visitors to the plot - all very complementary - and really enjoyed chatting with them. S'funny how you can tell a "Veg Head" straight away, isn't it? We all get a slightly crazed look in our eyes when confronted with a growing edible. - They are also the ones that leap on your Mange Tout when you offer them a sample!
Really tired now and have sun-burned the tops of my feet! Flip-flops!

It was a beautiful day and looks like we're in for another one. Pity I have to go to work.
