I went to this yesterday for the first time and made the final of one of the events winning a silver medal lol. To my surprise this morning i'm on page 3 of the Metro newspaper

Is it like conkers where some cheats hard boil eggs or soak them in vinegar.LOL.

Unfortunately no, the eggs are supplied and are stored for 6 months prior to help stop the spread of the Avian Flu Virus. Or at least thats what i was told. It could be a load of tosh just to get everyone to use their eggs in the interest of fairness. I don't actually know.
