You think that's bad, OH asked me what a verb was the other week!

Some of us live in the past, always talking about back then. Some of us live in the future, always planning what we are going to do. And, then there are those, who neither look behind or ahead, but just enjoy the moment of right now.

Which one are you and is it how you want to be?

In my opinion, if you don't know the rules for apostrophes don't fret about it - if in doubt, leave it out. It annoys me far more when sentences are littered with unnecessary apostrophes. T'other thing that drives me a bit mental is the confusion of there, their and they're.

Ok, now you've started me off
          Too, to and two
          weather and whether
          of and off
and the last thing ... for the moment is
him and me or him and I!
You wouldn't say me is going shopping so why say him and me are going shopping!

I love such grammatical stuff, makes me smile, but also makes me happy to see that it isn't just me who is such a pedant.

I never go shopping with Himself, it would limit my spending.

For me, it's the use of the pronoun I in lower case.

Bugger,on reflection you are right TS,I was trying to use 's to encapsulate the period 1990 -1999 inclusive, rather than the more correct s to define a multiple, confusing for an old git
