And money does not become monies it becomes moneys. Similarly trolley does not become trollies, it becomes trolleys. Trollies are something completely different from what you push round a supermarket. They are what you wear under your keks, ie knickers.

Actually, I've been thinking about this, and money does become monies... Checked the OED and its definition of monies is: 'plural form of money, as used in financial contexts.' It also recognizes both trolleys and trollies as the plural form of trolley and acknowledges it as the slang for underwear.
