Fortunately the world is saved from the sight of Leponge in a mankini. Due to my job being carp I'm still here instead of pedalling my way towards the Galibier. Gutted.
What chances Voeckler still in yellow tonight? Not huge but he has a sniff.Bob Leponge

One of the best Tours for years. Well planned route, good stages, good changes to the points & KOM competitions.
Great stuff from Voeckler, Rolland & Cavendish. A somewhat dull but ultimately worthy winner, I guess.

Agreed MBE, great Tour!!
Cav simply fantastic, missed yesterdays final stage due having a loooooong French lunch chez friends, but I had no doubts he would win and stay in green.
Voeckler has been taken to the hearts of the nation here, especially after the interview he gave at the end of the TT, very very funny man.
No pressure at all being put on Rolland, clearly a great future in the sport but he's already being talked of as the saviour of the country, the Frenchman finally able to win La Grande Boucle, poor kid.
Only 48 weeks and 6 days now... wooohoooo.Bob Leponge

I have enjoyed watching the tour and found very enjoyable the structures built in the fields alongside the

I liked the "tricolore" cows.
As for Rolland, I sincerely hope he is a future winner. He showed his mettle this time, and Le Tour needs a French winner. It's been too long since the Badger won - a French victory would revitalise the whole event. Our England is a garden, and such gardens are not made
