Thankyou.........and next year when the perennials have settled in hopefully the pretty end will be even better. This year for the vegs we've tried to grow what was available in 1911, next year tho' we're going to change things slightly........make it a bit more colourful and exotic. The crimson broadies have been admired by all so they are a good starting point.S*d the housework I have a lottie to dig

OMG Binns, that's beautiful. It's beginning to look every bit as good as the garden we saw en France at Vinstock. Well done it looks great, fancy staying with us for a couple of weeks in exchange for some gardening!Last edited by scarey55; 10-07-2011, 09:45 PM.A garden is a lovesome thing, God wot! that looks really really good! check out your cabbages! loving the daisies, are they just normal daisies? I really fancy havinf a big atch of them somewhere next year, besides them appearing willy nilly in the lawn, but i don't like the huge ones. And what is that huge leaved plant? and the benches! so cool!

the daisylike flowers in the first photo? that's the herb Feverfew , grows like a weed in my garden but does look pretty as a big clump ..I can try and capture some seed for you if you want....The cabbages are Brunswick, they're huge , need plenty of space .Last edited by binley100; 11-07-2011, 09:19 PM.S*d the housework I have a lottie to dig
