Mind you, this holiday will be an odd one for me because come September my littlest Reetlet will be starting reception and I wont have any Reetlets at home during the day .

OH is thinking this will mean more time for me to do the house (he likes clinically clean, I like clean but lived in ).

I'm thinking more time in my garden , planning my garden, tidying my garden, reading my gardening books.......

I'm sure you'll feel lost at first Reet, but you'll soon get over it

            Happens every frou frou time

Wake up after the final whistle, coughing as though I need to eject a furball and generally quite zonked. Immune system realises that schools out and decides to have a strop! No fair miserable weather outside don't help either. I got plants to play with...

A lot of my colleagues children are not well at the moment and they attribute it to the approach of the 6 week holiday. Sorry to hear you're under the weather HH.

Thank you, Florence. I'll be all right. It's an excuse to drink lots of hot Ribena and perhaps gets some fish and chips. Am googling heated propogators and finally get to properly read three issues of GYO.

Now that sounds like my kind of under the weather!

Look out 1pm finish then schools out for summer, yay I can lie in tomorrow. Lets see what time I get up knowing me even earlier than normal ( 7am ). OH is under strict instructions not to disturb us.

I'm thrilled. I'm new here because we moved into a new house last week, with a HUGE neglected gardn and plot, and it needs decorating (I can spell but droppd laptop in mov, e stopped working unless you bang it)........ my 'kids' are 15, 16 and 17 and will be digging a LOT. not to mntion painting, cooking their own meals (and min) and generally helping out.

They tend to get very busy elsewhere to be honest to avoid me.
