I have today bought three bags of compost from Wickes (I was in there buying Onduline for the chicken shed) - and have some pots left by the last owners full of nothing much and certainly nothing I like.
So I shall bring them home Thursday and repot them - as long as there's some left when I get to Thetford of course.Comment

Down there at eight o clock and they had not put the fruit out yet so I managed to grab two kiwi plants not sure if they are self fertile so I though two would be best.Comment

I bought some loganberry, tayberry, kiwi, fig, red gooseberry and blueberry. Think that's it. Now to clear some space!Comment

No tayberries or loganberries in either of the shops here, but 3 red gooseberries,2 blueberries, 2 gojiberries (taking a chance on those I know) a fig for the gh and a clematis

I have just given it a real pruning before it comes into leaf in the hope of getting some regeneration and the tree not having to work as hard getting water and nutrients higher up. If this doesn't work I'll replace it next year with something else.
