    Mindless thugs

    I suppose I could put this in the minor rant thread but I'm really incensed about it. The mindless violence that is being perpetuated by hooligans in London and Birmingham . OK so they are not happy with the shooting but that is absolutely no reason whatsoever to run amok looting and burning and....well I'm not going to say behaving like wild animals cos animals don't behave like that. What are they going to gain from it ......people are getting hurt, peoples livelihoods are getting destroyed . I don't care what any of you think of the police they have a damned difficult job to do with not enough resources and lets face it if this was happening abroad the mob would be fired on with water cannons or worse......
    Sorry just felt the need to vent ..........

        Don't think it's about the shooting - methinks ghetto areas spoiling for a fight any chance they get. Sorry I know this is contentious but they have interviewed people looting and they are after "freeness" apparently! Says it all for me. I feel sorry for the emergency services who are sent in to deal with it. Watch the government poor millions of money we don't have as a nation to sort this out, give them touchy feely new centres for those workshy and bored "wiv nuttink ta do innit"!

                      It has started in Brum - I knew it! I live 40 minutes drive away - it was my stamping ground years ago. I drive around it with my door locks down like my friend used to when she lived in South Africa. There are areas of Birmingham I wouldn't go to even in daylight.
