I really hope you get the role that you deserve, and that they don't just take you on and exploit your experience and good nature. They'll pay you less if they can!

I hope you hear quickly, and positively.

It's a big decision to move jobs, after all it takes up a huge part of our life. As someone who has just sold a business and given herself a year off I dread having to reinterview for posts (and have no idea what I could do anyway!).

        Good good luck to you.

Thanks guys, I really appreciate all the comments and best wishes, the last few months have been hell at work, and have left me worn out, lacking in self confidence and questioning my abilities, so much so that I was ready to walk out at one point, our new Area Manager is a nightmare. Moving jobs will help me to gain a bit more self confidence and give me a fresh start, even if it means working nights fr the forseeable future!

I rang the personnel manager today, and left a message, saying that I would do the nights role if that was all that was available, at least until there was a chance of swapping to days or a chance of a day shift in another new store (there are 2 stores opening in the next 6 months).

Lee went shopping at the store today, and saw the Personnel Manager, he asked when I would find out, which should be by Monday, but couldnt get any more info, They were interviewing another 3 candidates today, but Lee said he had smile on his face, though that could mean anything!

Wish they would let me know, and hope and pray that its a positive answer and a good move for me!

Lol, just to add another egg to the mix, I got an email back today from my original application, which was online, for Express Store Manager with the same company who interviewed me for Department Manager (at the branch my husband works via the application and CV I sent in with him), asking me to attend an assessment center on the 15th September, so if I get the job I was interviewed for I may also get a chance of a store managers job with the same company! lol!

I should find out on Monday whether Ive got the job I was interviewed for, then if not I will still have a chance of a job with them via the assessment center!
