Thanks all for the best wishes, comments and support, it has been very much appreciated!
When I had an interview to leave my most hated job ever; I was interviewed in June, finally got offered the job in July and started in Sept...and I was only on 4 weeks notice - so had to wait 1 month to get the offer and another before getting the offer letter - in the end I got them to fax it to me, at work and handed my notice in there and then.

So, stay positive - it can happen. x

I'm with reet, the suspenders are killing me. And I've got my toes crossed now as well as fingers.
If it doesn't happen then don't get too downhearted, it simply means that there's something else out there with your name on it that you haven't seen yet.
But I think you have given a very positive impression, so start telling yourself that you are worth it...

Good luck hope you get the news you want. I am about to leave a big chain as I am fed up with being just a number, no help what so ever from senior staff, being left on my own because they wont cover the hours etc etc. Hope yours is better.

I'm with y'all - the suspenders are getting uncomfortable! LOL (Won't chant, being tone deaf!)

                    Fingers still crossed for you.

                          • Lol, thanks guys, still nothing as yet!

Ive been shopping at the store today, no sign of the personnel manager, so had one of the customer service girls give him a bell to ask when I will find out, he immediately came down to see me, which is always a good sign. He shook my hand, and told me that as the Manager is on hols, and his stand in Manager is off today, they will definitely be sitting down tomorrow and making a decision, and he will definitely ring me tomorrow, he qalso said 'Dont worry' with a smile on his face, but that could mean anything!

Ah well, at least its only 24 more hours to wait!
                            Blessings

I'd be asking him for his home address, and turn up there every other day
