Hi Guys,

Just got an email from the Personnel Officer, the Recruitment Team said I wasnt suitable for Express Store Manager, but would be ideally suited to Line Manager, so would I like to apply for that? This is the position I applied for (successfully) at my local Tescos (then got told as they are going thru a restructure that my application would be put on hold), so it looks like I may still have a new job in the not too distant future.

Will keep you updated, and thanks again for the positive thoughts!

bad luck on the express manager, but still it sounds v.positive for the line manager. Is it in the other store? It's a step up the ladder anyway?

All sounds very positive for you. I think that, once you become line manager you should be able to move up very quickly. Well done you - now, let's hope that the local branch gets through it's restructuring soon x

Well, they havent given me a position yet, just asked if Id like my application to go forward into the Line Manager role, but at least its not a definite no! lol

Cool, its definately not a no! I'm awaiting the outcome of a phone interview to see if I'm suitable enough to have a phone interview? ( I'm sure this job searching malarky used to be easier!)
