Oh well done lad (and wife of course!) Another beautiful Welsh name. I'm sure she's as gorgeous as her sister.Whoever plants a garden believes in the future.

Thank you all Nice to see this message when I just popped on!
My wife was transferred over to a hospital (quite far away :/) from the birthing centre as she had a high temperature. Just had a text from her to say she's fine to come home at 5 if the little one passes all her tests and what not.
But they're both doing well, and my other daughter seems smitten, which is great - will put some pics up later no doubt.
I must say though, not sure this new addition is mine, she looks nothing like me, nor my wife - just rather a little fat budda type thing. My other one was a right little cutie - hope Ffion doesn't turn out to be the ugly sister! hehe
For the ladies - as I know this bores the heck out of the blokes, she was born in a birthing pool at 15:45 yesterday. Weighs in at 7lbs 15.5oz. Seren was 6lbs 13oz, so in comparison she's a monster! El has a few twinges at 12:30 yesterday, just as I came home - labour "properly" started at 13:30, so really a 2hr 15min labour! Seren's labour was 4 hours (both, coincidently born @ 39 weeks 5 days - both being wednesdays - odd hey?)... with them being 5 days apart (Seren was born on the 12th, this one the 17th). I must have somehow planned that to do joint birthdays to save a bit of money
For the blokes - damn it was gruesome. Looked like a scene out of a train crash, as the midwife put it (blood everywhere). How people can say childbirth is beautiful is beyond me, I'm not really queasy but I did feel a bit giddy after all that hehe!
Glad to say that the gas and air got me through the whole ordeal. Hats off to my wife who only had that too, to deal with the pain!

Nice one guys! All the very best.
p.s. I hear you on the blood thing. I felt a bit funny at the 'Texas chainsaw' scene, however the Mrs took great delight in leaning over within two mins of the final push and advising I book the 'snip snip' or she'd earmarked two bricks up the yard for me!Fantasy reminds us that the soul is sane but the universe is wild and full of marvels
