Off on Holiday early Friday morning. Heading to LLangollen North Wales where the attraction is the National Vegetable National Championships 2011. I hope to have a few entries but won't know until tomorrow when I start pulling stuff out of the ground. Just getting an entry will be good but don't expect to be in the tickets. The standard is unbelievably high. Will post some pics after we get back of the winning entries if no-one else has. After LLangollen, it's up to the Lake District where we will try some of the kind suggestions from the thread running on that subject. Would have gone further into Wales but that would have made the drive home humungously long and getting to be an old codger, I can't hack that these days. I won't be on the vine for a whole week after tomorrow. Whatever will I do without the "Just for Fun" thread? (Wayne should get a medal for launching that. It is such good fun and entertainment).

In the meantime can someone PM me and let me know if the MOM Goody Bag is just like Becky's pocket money please. I've been in a state of high anticipation but nowt has arrived <sniff>. If it is likely to arrive, I'll need to alert my neighbours so that they can take delivery for me.

You are making me dizzy BB, I watched a programme the other day with that girl that likes walking, can't for the life of me remember her name. She went over the canal on a boat and dangled over the edge.

What is wrong with people, made me feel sick just thinking about it, and you have brought that memory back, cheers BB. I think I can feel a bit of my Fried egg on toast coming back.....excuse me.

Took a barge over that viaduct a few years back. Everyone else got off and walked over as there are no railings on the outer edge of the trough. Not a place for someone who hates heights.

Mikey mate yer a woose, even a mere gurl putting you to shame hanging over the edge . Julia Bradbury btw, she's just had a baby but I don't think it was the hanging over bit that induced labour.
