Was in the shops today and they've already started, albeit a small section, but honestly!

All together now CHRISTMASSSSS! cards in local garden centre already and people buying them. I tend to start buying/saving for **** from September as I like to balance the books but I don't embrace buying tree/decs/wrapping paper, etc until December. Half the fun is the mad dash up to **** eve.

Pal of mine was saying the same thing. He's just booked a summer holiday and can't find anything but scarves and winter coats...

Oh, wait, that's not what you meant is it...?

Of course it's not too early for Halloween RT. Perhaps you're a bit nearer Christmas down under, but we're not prepared to start doing it here yet.

Saw cards in the NT trust shop at Horsey Windpump - it may have been still July. My other gripe is "Back to School " when we're still slogging through the Summer Term!
