  • Edible Garden Show next year

Just got my GYO mag today (yay) and there is an advert for the edible garden show next year (my birthday weekend). Has anyone been before? Have just checked out the website and hope to get my tickets soon.
God made rainy days so gardeners could get the housework done. ~Author Unknown

I went this year and thought it was OK, didn't find much to spend my money on and was disapointed about the lack of quality tools etc. If you're local then go for it but I wouldn't drive very far for it at all as it would make rather an expensive day out. You could walk round it all in a very short length of time and I was disappointed by the level of knowledge from a couple of stall holders when I asked advice although others were much better.

Some of us live in the past, always talking about back then. Some of us live in the future, always planning what we are going to do. And, then there are those, who neither look behind or ahead, but just enjoy the moment of right now.

Which one are you and is it how you want to be?

I am tempted to go with spuds but the cost of the stands is too much for me.

James Wong was Fab....! I do hope he is there next year. We have grown the 'Tooth ache' plant that he talked about at this years show.
Yes, it does make your mouth feel very very strange indeed! definitely one of these needed

I've heard good things about this show and am trying to organise a site trip to the show. We are from East Yorkshire so it's going to be a fair distance....I hope it's worth it
