Not bad dude. Your son will benefit from being slightly older than most, round here they call them rising threes.
Being born early in the year is a major advantage in their formative years, they progress quicker are bigger and stronger. Its only in retrospect that I now see how much of a disadvantage being a may or june baby is.
He'll love it you'll tear your hair out, I remember being told that DD would need to know how to go to the toilet on her own, and that she would no longer benefit from a cuddle when she fell over and hurt herself. Pre schools personally are not a patch on nurseries but the sooner you make the move the easier it is for the children.
He's virtually there with the toilet thing - and I try not to swoop him up unless he's really hurt himself.
The bigger thing he's already got down pat. Round at our local pub he'll oft play with the kids the same size as him, who are in fact a year or two (sometimes three) years older than him.
Think he'll love pre-school - he already knows loads of kids there by association through the child minder.
Well if I didn't feel old before, I do now. I can't believe he's growing up so fast, as are my grandchildren. I'm sure he'll love school and what interesting conversations are going to ensue!
